Caring for your KHA Knot Sculptures

I’m so glad that you’ve adopted a knot sculpture (or two or three!)
into your space! Here are some tips for caring for your decor knots
as they get acquainted in their new home.

Give ‘em a brush

The fringe and tassels of your knot sculpture may have gotten a little squished in transit or you may notice that the fringe has curled over time.

That’s because these small, stringed fibers are just like hair! Humidity of a room can cause the fibers to curl and wave (like what the NC humidity does to my wiley mane!) or temporary bumps can occur if they’ve been in a box too long - like when you’ve had your hair in a ponytail all day …

This can easily be fixed! Grab a wide-toothed comb and gently comb out the fibers. Seeing as these fibers are similar to hair, you may have to repeat this process over time to “train” the fibers into staying in place.

For my more visual learners, I’ve attached a video below of what it looks like to give your knot sculpture a lil’ brush!

Hang ‘em however you wish

Each decor knot has a small white sticker dot on its back indicating the center top of the knot.

This is to give you some guidance if you would like it to hang it in the orientation that I originally intended for it. But - in the event that you’re a lil’ rebellious (like me …) - hang them at whatever angle you wish!

I like to get creative and bend the rules a bit, and I encourage you to do the same!

Stay golden, my friends!
