Concept:
The past few months have me thinking a lot about interconnectedness and interdependence. There is something so wonderful about the opportunity to have a sense of belonging to other humans. What a gift it is to intertwine your life with another whether through friendship, familial ties, or romance.
I’ve been contemplating the act of intertwining our lives not just as a gift, but as a way of survival and thriving. I created these knots while living through the beginning of Donald Trump’s second term as president of the US, which is to say quite a scary time. In the midst of erasure, war, and harmful ideologies being given a platform of assumed authority, keeping the ties between trusted folks in our lives is absolutely necessary.
May we continue in our knowing that we are better together. That division is not sustainable. Love is an act of resistance. Intertwine your life with mine, please.
