HOPEFUL
Dimensions: 48 in. x 40 in.
Materials: Reclaimed wool and cotton yarns, cotton backing.
This work features a saw tooth hanger on the top center of its frame for easy hanging and installation.
Created within the constraints of my “use what you have” motto with the hope of using up my upcycled yarns, this work eventually became a reflection on why I create in my developed style. What a lovely surprise to finally recognize that the juxtaposition I am drawn to create between high pile and flat texture comes from a place of hopefulness.
